We are equally excited to congratulation Dennis Doyle with the "Community Partner Award". Mr. Doyle has served as Planning Director of Ulster County since 2004. He brings over 40 years of experience and expertise in the planning process and associated regulatory environment, policy and strategic plan development as well as technical knowledge in the environmental sciences, site design and demographics. Mr. Doyle also served on RUPCO’s Board including time as its President. Born and raised in Ulster County, he is an avid hiker, part-time chef, horrible golfer, and notorious former bartender. |

Prior to forming Up for Growth, Mike founded and served as Executive Director of Oregon Smart Growth, where he helped lead advocacy for a series of housing production bills across the state. He holds a B.S. in Community Development from the Toulan School of Urban Studies and Planning at Portland State University in Portland, Oregon, and has worked in housing since 2003. |

| | VOTE EARLY IN ULSTER COUNTY Early Voting for the November 8, 2022 General Election will begin on Saturday, October 29, 2022 and end on Sunday, November 6, 2022. Now before every election event, any eligible registered voter will have the ability to vote early at any convenient Early Voting Center. When you get to the Early Voting location, you will check in to vote, receive your ballot and vote as in any other election. Voting during Early Voting is the same as election day. |

| |  | HOUSING CHOICE VOUCHER SPECIALIST TRAINING SESSION Quadel’s two-day Housing Choice Voucher (HCV) Specialist training is a comprehensive course combining the use of classroom lecture, PowerPoint presentations, case studies, course book instruction, and group exercises to further participant understanding of the HCV program. The workshop includes a brief update on key legislative changes and current HCV program rules, in-depth coverage of eligibility, limits on assistance to non-citizens, waiting list management, annual income, allowances and rent calculations, voucher issuance and leasing, portability, payment standards, and rent reasonableness. An overview of SEMAP and HQS is also included. |
