This program offers direct funding of up to $112,500 to help eligible homeowners build or renovate a code-compliant ADU. We're serving more counties than ever before, with Sullivan County homeowners being eligible for the very first time, and we've expanded the income requirements to include homeowners that didn't qualify in the past. Property owners in Columbia, Orange, Sullivan, and Ulster Counties are encouraged to apply! GRANTS UP TO $112,500 PER HOUSEHOLD! An ADU is an additional unit on your property, either attached to your home (like a basement apartment) or detached (like a converted garage or cottage).
