FUNDING SECURED FOR COLD SPRING APARTMENTS IN THE VILLAGE OF TANNERSVILLE

We're excited to share that funding has been secured for Cold Spring Apartments, the redevelopment of the former Cold Spring Hotel in Tannersville, creating 55 new affordable units for workforce and senior housing.

Many thanks to New York State Homes & Community Renewal and all of our funding partners for making this much needed project possible. Here's to building a vibrant mixed-income community for our neighbors in Greene County!

FUNDS AVAILABLE TO ASSIST ULSTER COUNTY SENIOR HOMEOWNERS WITH EMERGENCY REPAIRS

The RESTORE program provides funding for emergency repairs, replacements, and modifications to help seniors aged 60 and older live independently and safely in their homes.

Grants of up to $20,000 per project!

 
 
 

RUPCO RECEIVED THE EXCELLENCE IN NONPROFIT ACHIEVEMENT AWARD AT THE 2024 NYS HISTORIC PRESERVATION AWARDS

Last month, Emily Hamilton (Managing Director of Real Estate Development) and Sally Dolan (Assistant Project Manager for Construction Related Services) attended the 2024 New York State Historic Preservation Awards, where our East End II project in the City of Newburgh earned us the Excellence in Nonprofit Achievement award.

It's an incredible honor to stand alongside 10 other outstanding projects from across New York State, all committed to preserving and revitalizing historic and cultural resources.

 

2ND ANNUAL LOVE YOUR BLOCK NEIGHBORHOOD CLEAN UP DAY

It's time for a little spring cleaning! Join us on Saturday, June 1st in Newburgh for our 2nd Annual Love Your Block Neighborhood Clean Up Day. We're looking for volunteers and cleaning supplies to help us clean the streets surrounding our tenants and community members living in Newburgh.

Date: Saturday, June 1st
Time: 7 AM - 1 PM
Location: 122 Lander St. Newburgh, NY 12550

RUPCO'S TEAM PARTICIPATING IN THE 15TH ANNUAL KINGSTON CLEAN SWEEP

Earlier this month, several of our team members took part in the 15th Annual Kingston Clean Sweep. They were assigned to the area around the Midtown Neighborhood Center and spent the morning helping to beautify the streets of Kingston. Many thanks to our Staff and Community Wellness Manager, Sue Melenciano-Weed, for organizing the team!

 
 

RUPCO STAFF PARTAKING IN ROSENDALE CLEAN UP NEAR OUR PARK HEIGHTS PROPERTY

Last month, some of our staff met up at the Rosendale Recreation Center and pitched in to tidy up a two-mile stretch of highway near our Park Heights property. Huge shoutout to our Payroll Specialist Dawn Briggs for organizing and leading the effort to maintain the cleanliness of our community!

 

LOW-INTEREST MORTGAGES AVAILABLE FOR RURAL BUYERS IN NEW YORK STATE!

The USDA Rural Development Loan Program can make your dream of country living a reality at a more affordable price!

This program provides low-interest mortgages to income-eligible homebuyers in rural areas, requires no down payment, and is open to both first-time and repeat buyers.

 

ARE YOU A LANDLORD OF A SMALL MULTIFAMILY BUILDING IN THE STATE OF NEW YORK?

Apply for the Climate Friendly Homes Fund Program! Qualified property owners have the opportunity to receive financial assistance for upgrading outdated HVAC systems to high-efficiency, all-electric models.

The program is now accepting applications on a rolling basis!

Last week, we hosted a tour of the Highpoint campus for Senator Rolison and Lieutenant Governor Antonio Delgado, accompanied by our partner, Melanie Evans, Founder of LYNC.

Highpoint is located at 245 Liberty Street and is part of the East End II development, our largest project to date. The campus is home to many community organizations, including Newburgh YouthBuild, BLK Hudson, and Hudson Valley Cheesecake.
